The strategy makes the most sense on a single concrete trade. This one is from the public journal: EURUSD short, 17 Jul 2026, +3 R. Below you walk it step by step — as you scroll, the chart draws itself alongside you: from the liquidity map through the sweep and confirmation to the entry, stop and target. No theory, one real trade. And at the end, the part most accounts leave out.
First, the liquidity map
The Asian session builds a range — its high and low are where resting orders sit (liquidity). London then dragged price above the Asian high. The dollar index (DXY) was mirroring a long setup — confirmation for a short on the euro.
Sweep — and an instant return
One candle spikes above the Asian high, takes the liquidity, and immediately snaps back inside the range. That long wick up is the whole grab. It's not a breakout — it's a trap for buyers.
Low of the sweep candle = Model-1
The key level of the whole strategy: the low of that sweep candle. When the next candle closes below it, that's the confirmation — the market says the return holds. Only now does the trade make sense.
A limit on the retest, no chasing
The entry doesn't jump into the market. A limit order is placed exactly on the Model-1 level and waits for price to come back. It came back — short filled at 1.14457.
Stop above the grab, target fixed at 3R
The stop-loss goes above the extreme of the whole grab — 6.6 pips. The target is fixed at three times the risk and not a pip elsewhere. No trailing, no taking half off. From here the only job is to do nothing.
Set & forget rode to target
In the afternoon price walked down to exactly where the plan aimed — the target. No intervention, no emotion mid-position. +3.0 R, plan followed.
One trade proves nothing
This is the mechanic, not proof of profitability. Whether the system has an edge only shows over dozens of trades — not one pretty one. That's why the whole journal is public: every trade, wins and losses, with equal weight.

The levels are real (entry 1.14457 · SL 1.14523 · TP 1.14259). The candles are schematic — for readability, not a tick-by-tick record.
